Charli XCX has unveiled a global series of listening sessions to preview her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, with several UK dates confirmed among 25 cities hosting early screenings.
The events are slated to run in independent cinemas this week, from July 9 to July 11, offering fans the opportunity to hear the complete record ahead of its official release on July 24 — a full two weeks ahead of schedule.
UK venues listed for the events include The Castle in London, Savoy Cinema in Stockport, and Cinema and Showtime in Dublin.
In addition to the UK, sessions will take place in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Japan, and numerous European cities.
The Von Dutch hitmaker recently teased that there is one collaboration on the follow-up to Brat.
She confessed that fans will find it near-impossible to guess who the sole featured artist is.
Appearing on the French TV show Quotidien, she teased: “There is one collaboration.
“I’m not telling you, but you won’t be able to guess.”
Charli — who placed John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese on the cover to symbolize her heroes in the three fields — insisted that guessing who it is would be futile.
She said: “I’d bet money on you not guessing. You can try!
“You could have 1000 chances and you still wouldn’t guess.”
Thus far, fans have heard the singles Rock Music, which elicited mixed reactions, SS26, and Wink Wink.
Recently, Charli and Madonna put to rest rumours of a feud as they spent several hours partying together in Paris.
After the 33-year-old star proclaimed in Rock Music that “the dance floor is dead,” Madonna, who was preparing to release the dance album Confessions II at the time, posted a series of disco-themed images on Instagram with a caption many fans viewed as a direct rebuttal.
She wrote: “If your Dance Floor feels dead Maybe you’re playing the wrong music (sic).”
Nevertheless, the pair quashed the speculation as they sat side by side, smoked cigarettes, and embraced at the Saint Laurent menswear spring/summer 2027 fashion show last month.
They were later seen behind the DJ booth dancing to Madonna’s tracks Thief of Hearts and Hung Up at the after-party.
