Last year, Paco Cathcart issued their first album under their own name after more than fifty records released under the Cradle banner. Now, the singer‑songwriter returns to that identity to unveil a new LP titled Get Yourself A Man & Other Love Songs, set to arrive this fall.
The lead single, “Human Nature,” is released today. The complete LP is presently hosted on the musician’s Patreon page, with a broader release planned for later. In a note shared on Instagram, Cathcart wrote:

This will hit the bandcamp at the same time that the cassettes become available (in manufacturing currently) but for now this music lives only on the patreon page. “Human Nature” opens with brass and the line, “Suicidal ideation,” which adds a provocative twist. The track also asks direct questions like, “Why do men hate women?/ Why do I want to kill everything?” Listen below.
