The Divine Feminine stands as one of the most acclaimed and influential records in Mac Miller’s career. With 2015’s GOOD:AM, the Pittsburgh-born artist had already redefined himself as a soulful, melodic explorer, a fixture in a burgeoning Los Angeles hip-hop scene alongside several bright talents from the orbit of Odd Future and TDE. By the time he followed it up with a concept album about women’s secret energy, featuring Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, and Miller’s then-girlfriend Ariana Grande, he had successfully shed his old Blue Slide Park image and earned broad recognition as a brilliant musician.
As they did with GOOD:AM last year, Miller’s estate will celebrate The Divine Feminine this year with a 10th anniversary reissue. Set for release in October, this deluxe edition of the album will include three previously unreleased tracks, including today’s offering “Butterflies,” which leaked years ago but is now available through official channels. Check it out below.
The Divine Feminine (10th Anniversary) is out 10/2 on Warner. Pre-order it here.
