Earlier this year Angèle joined forces with Justice for the track “What You Want.” The song is slated to appear on her forthcoming album, Instinct, which she unveils today. Other contributors include Caroline Polachek, SebastiAn, and Soulwax.
Instinct was largely self-produced by Angèle alongside her longtime collaborator Tristan Salvati. June’s “Dis-le” is included on the record, and a new single titled “Une seule vie” is out now with a music video directed by Thomas Mailaender, who explains, “We pictured the video as a succession of memories, visions and mental images that burst into Angèle’s reality. Analogue, thus, becomes the natural language of the video: a fragile, imperfect material to discuss memory, nostalgia and the passage of time.”
