Kelly Osbourne has told fans that she is making steady progress in her recovery after the passing of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In the wake of the Black Sabbath icon’s death in July 2025, his daughter drew concern about her health due to a slimmer appearance and frequently pushed back at body-shaming remarks that scrutinised her looks.
During a cover chat with HELLO! magazine published on Monday, the 41-year-old admitted she found it hard to deal with the body-shaming because she “wasn’t well” at the time. Yet therapy and the support network around her have helped improve her condition.
“How can you cope with something so cruel when you’re not well?” she asked. “I’m doing much better now. I’ve got all the help I need and I’m grateful for the backing in my life. I’ve built an amazing team of people around me who aren’t just friends, because when you’re grieving you discover that many people don’t know how to handle it, and you end up losing a lot of friends. But the ones who stay are the genuine ones.”
The former Osbournes star noted that she is simply taking “one step at a time” as she continues to grapple with grief, though she has begun a “slow road to recovery.”
“You’ve got to address the head before you can fix the body,” she explained. “This will take time. I won’t be healed in a single day. It won’t be solved by one therapy session. This represents a lifetime of work that I must undertake and continue for the rest of my life.”
Since Ozzy’s death, Kelly has returned to the United Kingdom, and her three-year-old son Sidney is now enrolled at the same Buckinghamshire preschool she once attended.
Kelly has recently separated from Sidney’s father, Sid Wilson, the former Slipknot musician.
