Bassvictim – Blueberries

September 7, 2026

In the last year or so, the British duo Bassvictim has captured the imagination of many with their maximalist, hedonistic take on experimental bedroom-pop. We were drawn to their EP ?, released earlier this year. It seems Bassvictim have patched things up with their hyperpop peer and remix collaborator daine, and they’re about to launch a North American tour, making it an ideal moment for a new single.

The new Bassvictim track “Jagódki (Blueberries)” unfolds as a warped, almost toy-like electroclash piece, with vocalist Maria Manow chanting in Polish over producer Ike Clateman’s fizzy, cartoonish thump. (Jagódki, by the way, means “little blueberries” in Polish.) Clateman also directed the track’s quirky video, a montage of boxers sparring in an ultrabright gym. See it below.
