Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Cheer on North West’s Debut Solo Runway Show

September 8, 2026

North West lit up the stage in Chicago for her very first solo show, with her parents in the audience offering their unwavering backing.

The 13-year-old emcee headlined at The Vic Theatre in Chicago’s Lakeview district, while Kanye West and Kim Kardashian watched proudly from opposite sides of the venue, Billboard notes.

The performance came roughly a month after North’s initial solo tour with rapper Molly Santana was canceled.

In fan-made clips from the Chicago event, Kardashian and Ye, formerly Kanye West, were seen arriving separately. The SKIMS founder took a seat in the VIP section, while the superstar rapper filmed his daughter’s set from a balcony.

West, a Chicago native, kept time with the music as the Kardashians star cheered on their daughter. Both later shared footage from the theatre on their respective Instagram Stories. “So Proud,” Ye captioned a video from the show.

North also posted a collection of clips from the concert and thanked her fans for the support.

“My first solo headlining show ily guys so much for showing love seriously means the world to me,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “This is what I’m meant to do.”

North’s debut headlining appearance supported the release of her first EP, N0rth4evr, which arrived in early May.
