Britney Spears has shared her wish to be the best mother she can be as she marked her sons’ birthdays.
The pop icon, who is mom to two boys, took to Instagram to pay tribute to Sean Preston, who turns 21 on Monday, September 14, and Jayden James, who celebrated his 20th birthday on Saturday, September 12.
In a message addressed to her younger son, she wrote, “Happy birthday to my handsome young boy, oh dear lord, we have this beautiful thing called life in front of us. It’s such a beautiful delicate thing. I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!”
The Grammy winner also shared a photo of Jayden from a photoshoot and another image of him as a child.
In another post, she posted a throwback shot showing her with Jayden and Preston when they were little.
“Happy early B-day to u as well,” Spears wrote in the Preston tribute.
“Please stop working out so much because your muscles r starting to scare me… JK! I’m so proud of the young man you have become.”
Additionally, Spears uploaded two separate photos of her sons with the caption, “Happy b day baby!”
The artist behind Toxic shares Jayden and Preston with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007.
