Just Penelope’s debut EP Great Lake is slated for release this Friday, and the anticipation continues to intensify. The Bloomington band has already shared “After” (which landed on our list of the week’s five best songs) and “Sister,” but the newest single “Copenhagen” could prove to be their finest offering yet.
“‘Copenhagen’ captures a collage of mounting pain that accompanies confronting your own expectations,” the group explains. “We crafted the video to reflect the mental ensemble set in motion when desire pushes beyond reach.”
