Say Now is a British pop outfit made up of Amelia Onuorah, Maddie Haynes, and Yssy Salvanera. They’ve been releasing sparkling pop since 2023, and this past Friday they unveiled their latest single, “Met my match,” with executive production by PinkPantheress. The track also features work from Maestro The Baker, Oscar Scheller, and Count Baldor.
“Met my match” comes across as a playful number propelled by restless Y2K-inspired vocals, blazing synth lines, and punchy handclaps. It serves as the ideal tune to belt out and kick off a big night out. It evokes the moment of ignoring your bedazzled flip phone’s incessant buzzing while you apply a touch of blush. The new single also offers a preview of the group’s impending debut EP, scheduled for release in November.
