Protomartyr’s forthcoming album, Hotel Usona, is slated to drop at the end of the week. The band has already unveiled “Sounds We Cannot Hear” and “Feed The Sewer,” and now they’ve offered a closing preview titled “Exalted Eagles.”
“The final taste of Hotel Usona before its Friday release,” states vocalist Joe Casey. “Having heard about a third of the record, are you convinced yet? If you’re unsure, recall: Annuit cœptis! P.S.: please leave a review and tell your friends. The algorithm needs every bit of support it can get.”
The track turns a dark eye toward patriotism, building to an unsettling chant: “He approves us!” Listen below.
