Rita Ora finds herself facing litigation from a former manager who is pursuing more than $4 million (£3 million) in compensation.
Sarah Stennett has initiated legal action against the Let You Love Me singer, alleging that Ora did not hand over a share of her earnings.
The 35-year-old parted ways with her former manager in 2024 after reportedly clashing over the “direction of her career.”
They had worked together for nearly twenty years, with Stennett first signing Ora in 2009, when she was just 18.
The founder of FAE Ventures has filed papers in London’s High Court asserting that her firm is entitled to millions, meaning Ora now faces a lengthy legal battle.
The claims state that Ora allegedly failed to remit a portion of her earnings from tours and television work, totaling about $4.2 million (£3.2 million), with documents arguing she breached the contract by not paying the firm’s share.
The largest amount cited was just over $2.3 million (£1.7 million), with a further $1.5 million (£1.1 million) allegedly outstanding from “unreported touring income” from her Phoenix World Tour between 2019 and 2020.
There are also claims that Ora was not completely transparent about the money she earned as a judge on The Masked Singer.
The star has yet to file a defence to the claim, according to The Sun.
After leaving FAE Ventures in 2024, the Anywhere singer signed with Melissa Ruderman at Range Media Partners.
Ora’s fourth studio album is expected to be released in 2027. She is also working on upcoming film projects, including Viqueens, Voltron and Honeymoon with Harry.
