Earlier this year, Peaches resurfaced with No Lube So Rude, marking her first studio album in more than ten years and earning a spot on the Polaris Music Prize shortlist. Today, the pop icon is presenting her timeless 2000 anthem “Fuck The Pain Away” with its inaugural remix for the upcoming Hellraiser title.
Peaches joined forces with Saber Interactive to craft a remix of the track for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Steve Molitz, Saber Interactive’s Music Director, produced and reshaped the updated version of “Fuck The Pain Away” while Pinhead’s narration is provided by Doug Bradley. “I’ve long admired Peaches for her fiercely unapologetic, provocative stance toward self-expression,” Molitz notes. “It was an honor to collaborate with Peaches and rethink this iconic track, and we’re thrilled to finally unleash this beast to the world!”
“With this reimagining of the track, my song is set in a darker, more twisted realm,” Peaches states. “Fuck The Pain Away keeps growing and now carries new meaning within the Hellraiser universe. I’m in!”
