Take That have announced the arrival of their tenth studio album, Dreamers, set for release on November 20.
The collection features the latest singles You’re A Superstar, Sweet July and Feel My Love with Michael Patrick Kelly, together with the newly released title track Dreamers.
The news follows a hectic year for the trio, who led Netflix’s chart with their self-titled documentary and played to more than 700,000 fans across the UK and Ireland as they revived their daring 2009 Circus tour.
The group said the new record evolved organically from shared ideas during a milestone year.
The trio – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – explained: “As we were crafting this record, our tenth as a group, we didn’t intend to produce something that looked back on our journey. Yet, amid a year that has already been extraordinary for us, the process of sharing music and ideas yielded the strongest elements of Take That’s experience, poured into these tracks. We’re genuinely thrilled and proud of what we’ve made, and we can’t wait for listeners to hear it.”
According to a press release, the result is a gleaming, high-energy collection packed with pop anthems and influenced by disco, house, and timeless pop sensibilities.
To back the release, Take That will embark on the Dreamers Tour, their most extensive European outing in years. Kicking off on June 3 in Switzerland, the trek features 31 performances across 16 nations, including stops in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Austria. The tour wraps up on July 23 in Germany.
Dreamers comprises twelve tracks, among them Wonderkids, Best Heartbreak, Higher, Who Do You Think You Are, Change of Season, My Love Is Yours, Saint and Masterpiece.
