Ray J experienced a medical scare that led to an urgent trip to the hospital during a livestream on Thursday, 1 October.
While broadcasting on his Kick account, the R&B singer suddenly faced a medical emergency, triggering the fire department and an ambulance to rush to his aid, TMZ reported.
His mother, Sonja Norwood, was with him at the time.
The footage shows Ray J shirtless, with monitoring equipment attached to his chest as medical professionals tend to him on a sofa.
This marks another health scare for the performer. Earlier this year, Brandy Norwood’s younger brother and Snoop Dogg’s cousin took to Instagram to tell fans that he had been hospitalized due to heart issues.
"I wanna thank everybody for praying for me," he shared. "I was in the hospital. My heart’s only beating like 25 per cent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right, so thank you for all your prayers."
He was also hospitalized in Las Vegas in January with pneumonia and chest pain.
According to Ray J, years of heavy drinking and drug use have caused problems with his heart.
"I f**ked up," he said during one live video. "I thought I could handle all the drugs, I could handle everything, but I couldn’t."
