Rappers Lucki and Playboi Carti have found themselves in a confrontation in the parking area during ComplexCon in Los Angeles.
Initial reports indicated that several individuals were stabbed, including Lucki, who appeared in social media clips to bear injuries to his face and neck.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the Sunset singer was in the lot around 4:40 pm on Saturday, surrounded by fans seeking photographs, when an unknown assailant struck him on the side of the face, causing a cut.
Another victim was seen being stabbed, and Los Angeles police then located two additional victims.
TMZ noted that of the four victims, three were in stable condition, and one person made their own way to a hospital.
In a widely circulated video, Lucki moved into the front seat of a car with a neck wound, before being urged to shift to the back seat as he held his bloodied face.
In a separate clip, Carti is seen glancing toward the altercation from inside his car window.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident as an attempted murder. No arrests have been reported.
ComplexCon is an annual festival and trade show that brings together streetwear, sneaker culture, pop art, live music, food and design. Representatives for the event told People magazine that the incident occurred “on the public street outside the event”.
“We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and remain focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone attending ComplexCon,” the statement continued.
Lucki and Playboi Carti have a history of online tension dating back to September 2024.
