Remi Wolf lauds Hayley Williams as one-of-a-kind

October 11, 2026

Remi Wolf has praised Hayley Williams as the finest vocalist and a truly singular artist.

The two first crossed paths in 2023 when Wolf opened for Paramore, and they have remained close friends and collaborators ever since, joining forces onstage at the Newport Folk Festival in July and again at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this month.

In an interview with Variety, Remi said: “She’s incredibly amazing. I adore her, I respect her, and she’s simply the best singer with a one-of-a-kind artistry and is also a lovely person.”

Remi also drew a whole new following after making a cameo in Prime’s hockey romance series Off Campus, where she performed at a faux schoolwide block party.

She commented: “The day on set was fantastic; meeting the cast was great. They all seem to enjoy each other’s company, and they really do. It was a fun set to be on. I’d never been on a set like that; it was cool to just watch the village come together.”

Her 10-track debut album Mud is poised to attract fresh fans while continuing to satisfy her existing base.

Speaking about the emotionally charged project, she explained: “Once you move past the moment of being grossed out by how dirty and unseen Earth is in every corner, you can start to have fun exploring it.”

“If you allow yourself to surrender to the mud, it can become a genuinely enjoyable, beautiful, and freeing experience. When I decided to make this album, I went through all the phases of being immersed in mud.”

“People want to cry. I feel like we’re all pent up and life is chaotic. With this album, I want to guide listeners toward a sense of catharsis and give them a space to let everything out.”

“I was so vulnerable and worn down that I doubted I could walk into the studio with people who wouldn’t instantly be comfortable with me in that state. I just thought, ‘forget all the nonsense! I’m bringing my friends, and we’re all in this together.’”
