Zara Larsson intends to push her visual identity higher still as she gears up for what she calls her next era.
In a recent appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang asked the Lush Life singer whether she’s crafting the follow-up to her 2025 breakthrough, Midnight Sun.
She indicated that she already has a clear sense of what her next era will look like.
It’s not a complete 180, she explained. It will be playful, joyful, colorful, and vibrant, but it will also feel elevated and refined… She even has a name for it and knows what she wants. Yet she also believes she isn’t done with the Midnight Sun era just yet.
The artist known for Never Forget You noted that the video for her track Blue Moon might hint at what fans can expect from her upcoming music.
I hope that when people watch this video, they’ll feel like they’re entering a world that has grown, she said at 28. For whatever lies ahead, her goal is to earn listeners’ trust and invite viewers to join her on the journey, promising that she will reveal remarkable things.
During the chat, Zara also confirmed that she’s eager to tour again.
I want to be more creative, she said, and my dream is a full arena tour with an amazing production that travels with me to wherever I am and uses the same stage setup—everything I’ve ever imagined to truly entertain, to the best of my ability. I can’t wait for that, she smiled.
