Fenne Lily, the British singer-songwriter, is preparing to release her new album Win Win toward the end of the week. Ahead of its arrival, she has already unveiled three tracks—”Uh Huh,” “Thank You Sorry,” and “Sleeping”—and today offers one final preview named “Stranger Things.”
“I assumed the title might draw in listeners who are hunting for the Stranger Things soundtrack,” Lily quips. “In truth, the title preceded the song and drew on something my dad said during a difficult stretch. He reminded me that every thing you find and miss signals that more extraordinary moments exist out there. That you’re fortunate to encounter one, and that another will come along.”
“Stranger Things” unfolds as a twangy daydream and arrives with a graceful music video filmed in Seattle’s Puget Sound by Jolie M-A. Watch below.
Win Win is scheduled for release on 10/23 via Nettwerk.
