Pitbull hints Bon Jovi eyeing another collaboration after Now Or Never success

October 23, 2026

Pitbull reveals that Jon Bon Jovi keeps pursuing another joint project with him.

The 45-year-old entertainer was thrilled to team up with the legendary rock icon to reimagine Bon Jovi’s 1999 classic It’s My Life. The result, titled Now Or Never, landed in November 2024 and marked the band’s first appearance on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart since Who Says You Can’t Go Home nearly twenty years earlier.

Speaking during a live Superstar Q+A: The Story Behind the Charts panel with Billboard’s chief content officer Leila Cobo, he reflected: “When someone entrusts you with that level of confidence, it becomes a responsibility.”

“Now, whenever I see Bon Jovi, he asks me, ‘When are we going to do another one?’”

On his new album PITCOIN, Pitbull has joined forces with glam-rock legends KISS, delivering his own spin on Rock and Roll All Nite for the track Reach For The Stars.

He commented: “It’s an honor for the iconic group KISS to bless us and agree to rework one of the greatest songs of all time.”

“Being able to perform it onstage… it’s amusing, because we actually used it as the opening number for a show, making it feel almost like fate at work.”

“You put it out into the universe, and it comes back.”

Pitbull has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from Enrique Iglesias to Lil Jon, underscoring his belief that music knows no boundaries.

Earlier this year, his 2011 collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, On The Floor, made a return to Billboard’s charts after featuring on Amazon Prime Video’s Off Campus series.

Looking back on the track, Pitbull recalled: “Back then, I felt incredibly blessed and honored to work with Jennifer Lopez. What she’s achieved in her career, climbing from the bottom to the top, all the success she’s found… Jennifer, I appreciate you.”

Despite a string of marquee hits, Pitbull insisted that chart success is not his primary motivation.

He explained: “I don’t pay much attention to the music charts. What’s meant for you, no one can take away. What’s destined to be will be.”

“Lil Jon gave me a break. I haven’t always been handed great opportunities — and when you get one, you don’t let it slip away.”
