JADE Drops Teaser for Second Solo Album, ‘Brave and Bold’

October 25, 2026

JADE has promised that her second solo album will be “brave and bold”.

The former member of Little Mix, her acclaimed debut That’s Showbiz Baby! earned a Mercury Prize nomination, though it ultimately trailed behind Raye’s This Music May Contain Hope, and she has pledged that the follow-up will deliver a “pop punch to the face”.

In an interview with NME, JADE explained: “I can’t reveal too much without giving it away, but it’s once again very honest about my experiences this year, whatever I’ve been through, while staying brave, bold and a bit of pop punch to the face.”

The Angel of My Dreams creator noted that she has been “actively writing” with producer and collaborator Mike Sabbath over the summer.

The 33-year-old singer added: “We’ve been keeping busy throughout the summer, between little breaks and the festival run.

I’ve been in the studio with him, drafting what we can, and I’m heading to LA in a couple of weeks to begin solidifying what this is going to sound like.

It’s still early days, but I love the writing process, and it’s even nicer to work on it with friends and people you feel really comfortable with.”

JADE drew a massive crowd when she made her Reading Festival debut in August and now eyes headlining after the “amazing” experience.

She recalled: “It was incredible. I’d never played Reading before, it was my first time, and as a pop artist you’re always a little anxious about how the crowd will react—especially at Reading.”

But they were amazing, they were fully up for it. It was one of my favourite festivals this year and one more bucket-list item checked off.

Asked about headlining, JADE said: “I mean I’d love to, I’d absolutely love to.”

“That’s definitely a dream of mine to headline more festivals, and there are no better ones than Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury.”

JADE performed at Glastonbury in 2025 and is hopeful of playing at Worthy Farm again when the legendary festival returns next year.

She said: “Fingers crossed, we’ll see.”

“It was so special there last year, and it was probably one of the best shows of my life. It was so, so special. I’d love to re-live it and do it again.”
