Meiv – No Future Parts I & II featuring Armand Hammer

October 27, 2026

Meiv stands as a flexible, genre-hopping initiative that travels across musical styles and geographies, led by Tokyo-based creator Curinus, with his Hong Kong-based collaborator Eugene Nx and Nx’s young daughter Sara Nx joining the project. Following their introduction last month with the kaleidoscopic debut single “Dedeoka,” produced by the American electronic artist Body Meat, they return with another new track.

For the forthcoming single “No Future Pt. 1 & 2,” Meiv have enlisted two more offbeat innovators: Armand Hammer, the consistently stellar duo of underground New York emcees ELUCID and billy woods. True to its title, the piece unfolds in two distinct sections, opening with playfully nonsensical, sing-song lyrics and bright organ blurts before shifting toward a mood that is decidedly more downbeat. Listen below.

And here’s “Dedeoka”:

“No Future Pt. 1 & 2” is out now via Dom Records.

I write about music as a cultural signal, following the artists, scenes, releases, and movements that shape how people listen today. My work focuses on discovery, context, and the stories behind the sounds that travel beyond borders.
