Sam Fender Delays Tour Pre-Sale Following Sophisticated Bot Attack

October 28, 2026

Sam Fender has delayed a pre-sale for three shows on his upcoming tour after promoters described it as a highly sophisticated bot attack.

The Rein Me In singer turned to Instagram Stories to inform his fans of the development.

“Promoters have informed me that there’s been a highly sophisticated bot attack targeting the Gigantic ticket site, which is impacting the St James’ Park pre-sale,” he wrote.

“We have to shift the Newcastle pre-sale to 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday 29 October) to ensure real fans can get the tickets,” he added.

The initial wave of pre-sale tickets for Fender’s Proper Massive stadium tour across the UK and Ireland went live on Wednesday, 28 October, with eligible fans able to purchase tickets for the shows.

However, the pre-sale tickets for three St James’ Park performances on the Gigantic platform were paused mid-morning on Wednesday, with Fender revealing on Instagram Stories that there had been a “sophisticated bot attack.”

The pre-sale tickets for the remaining shows are being held on Ticketmaster and are reported to be unaffected.

The Mercury Prize winner will commence his tour at St James’ Park in his hometown of Newcastle on June 3, 2027, before heading to Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester and two additional dates at Wembley Stadium in London.

General sale tickets for all shows will go on sale at 9.30 am on Friday 30 October.
