Lamb Rebrands as Lambb After Trip-Hop Duo Complaint, Unveils New Single Obsession

November 1, 2026

Earlier this year, the emerging alt-pop singer known simply as Lamb unveiled plans for her debut EP and an accompanying tour, leaving followers of the former Manchester trip-hop duo Lamb somewhat puzzled. The two Lamberts issued clarifications that a reunion wasn’t on the cards, tried to contact the other Lamb to resolve the misunderstanding, and thanked readers for highlighting the confusion.

It seems that clarification did its job, because the artist is now quietly transitioning to Lambb, adding an extra B to her name. While her previous single “TALK” did receive a notable boost after Jungkook of BTS included it in an Instagram post, release of that track occurred under her former spelling last month, and she has been steadily rolling out the updated spelling across platforms since then.

Today, Lambb announces a new EP, There’s Someone In The Yard, and issues her first official track under the Lambb moniker. You can listen to “OBSESSION,” a dark electronic pop piece, and watch its music video below.

There’s Someone In The Yard is out 11/20 via Warner.
