Hammered by Computerwife

November 2, 2026

Computerwife, the solo alt-rock project from Atlanta-born, New York–based musician Addie Warncke, is gearing up to release the new album Born From A Wish as the week comes to a close. We’ve already heard early singles “Nobody,” “Foreverrr,” and “You Didn’t Know.” Today, she offers one last preview, the warped, late-’90s–flavored rocker “Hammered.”

“I made this in 2023,” Warncke explains. “The track started as a self-deprecating take on my own confusion in life and then shifted when I saw people around me begin to alter their personalities to suit different social environments. It really irritated and disappointed me, probably because I felt just as lost. Since there isn’t something you can easily address outwardly, it all ended up coalescing into one song.” Listen below.
