Jamie Lynn Spears has dismissed Britney Spears’ latest Instagram takedown.
Page Six cites a source claiming that Jamie and her husband, Jamie Watson, “aren’t really concerned about the post”.
In a sharp post on Sunday, Britney declared she “will find a new family”, alleging that they all took part in “secret things… behind my back”.
The Grammy winner added that her family “made me feel like a slave”, noting that of her sister, all she ever did was “work for dad”.
Patriarch Jamie Spears oversaw Britney’s controversial 13-year conservatorship.
Since the conservatorship ended in November 2021, Britney has publicly accused her family of pushing her to extremes, profiting off her fame without justification, exercising control over her, and silencing her.
Over the years, her father and his lawyers have denied that the conservatorship was abusive, maintaining that all of his actions as her conservator were legal, properly supervised by the court and undertaken in her “best interest”.
Jamie Lynn, for her part, has repeatedly denied any involvement in the conservatorship, addressing many of Britney’s claims in her memoir, Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame and Figuring it Out.
Britney also directed her ire at her ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, in her latest tirade.
According to the mother of two, Kevin “wouldn’t let me use the bathroom” in his house whenever she came to collect the children.
