Olivia Rodrigo Unveils Debut Christmas Single

November 3, 2026

Olivia Rodrigo is gearing up to unveil her first-ever Christmas single. In a post on Monday, the singer-songwriter announced that Take Me Home (4 Christmas) will land on 5 November. She will also launch an exclusive 7-inch vinyl and a cassette edition at the same time, while the official music video will feature Sex and the City alum Cynthia Nixon alongside Saturday Night Live’s Ben Marshall. The track Take Me Home (4 Christmas) was composed by Rodrigo, who previously had a hit with Drop Dead, in collaboration with Dan Nigro and Amy Allen. No teaser has been released yet, but on Monday she shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a Santa hat. “I’m so excited!!” the 23-year-old wrote in the caption, and producer Nigro added: “This is defintiely not my least favorite song we’ve ever made (sic).” Meanwhile, fans flooded the comments with their excitement. “Yayyy for Livmas,” one follower wrote, while another added, “The best gift I didn’t know I needed.” The festive track follows Rodrigo’s remix of Expectations featuring Chappell Roan. In June, Rodrigo issued her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl Who’s in Love. She is currently touring North America on The Unraveled Tour, with plans to head to the United Kingdom and Europe in the early part of next year. The Vampire star will next perform at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday.

I write about music as a cultural signal, following the artists, scenes, releases, and movements that shape how people listen today. My work focuses on discovery, context, and the stories behind the sounds that travel beyond borders.
