Hey Boyyy by Slayyyter

November 8, 2026

Slayyyter recently had to cancel the remaining dates of her tour because of vocal issues, but her breakout year keeps moving forward. Her debut album WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA opened at the top spot on our mid-year chart, and she is poised to follow it up with a companion LP titled wor$t man in america. We’ve already heard several of her tracks, including “brand new chanel$,” “crank 2,” and “i think he’s got a girl.” Today, she reveals another new song.

The new single, “hey boyyy,” serves as a reminder of all the strengths the artist brings to the table. Roughly half of the track delves into distorted, high-energy blog-house with frantic screams, while the other half sparkles with a sunny, ’80s-inspired pop vibe. She deftly blends these two contrasting moods as she sings about a moment of thrilling, heart-flutter attraction. In the self-directed video, Slayyyter guides a golden skeleton on romantic outings in Paris and Hollywood. It’s just a genuinely enjoyable piece of music. Check it out below.

wor$t man in america is out 12/4 on RECORDS/Columbia.

I write about music as a cultural signal, following the artists, scenes, releases, and movements that shape how people listen today. My work focuses on discovery, context, and the stories behind the sounds that travel beyond borders.
