September 4, 2026

Anderson .Paak has reportedly reached a settlement in his lengthy divorce from his former partner, Jae Lin.

.Paak filed court documents on 2 September, indicating that he and Jae Lin have agreed on how their assets will be divided and on support arrangements, according to TMZ.

Details of any custody agreement for their two children, Soul Rasheed (15) and Shine Tariq (8), have not been disclosed.

The Silk Sonic artist, who spent 13 years married to his second wife, initiated divorce proceedings in January 2024 and sought both legal and physical custody of their two sons.

Jae Lin, also known as Jaylyn Chang, filed fresh requests for primary physical custody and for spousal support as the divorce proceedings gained momentum in March.

She asked that both parents share legal custody, with Paak awarded secondary physical custody and visitation rights, and she also sought spousal support.

The couple wed in November 2010 after meeting at a gospel class at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.

Since the split, .Paak has been the subject of ongoing dating rumours, including rumours that he and Mariah Carey are in a relationship. The pair have been spotted holding hands after working together on their duet Play This Song.
