Fresh from her Eternal Sunshine Tour, Grande’s song debuted at No. 1 globally on May 29, spending 22 days at the summit on Spotify’s Global Chart and 89 days in the Global Top 10. The track’s success propelled Grande beyond the 100 million monthly listeners on the platform in August.
Also featured in the global list is country artist Ella Langley with “Choosin’ Texas”, which spent 70 days at No. 1 in the US and 98 days within the Global Top 50. The track crossed borders to become one of the most-streamed songs in the UK this season.
The UK audience warmed to Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s collaboration “Rein Me In”, which spent 75 days at No. 1 across the UK and Ireland. The track reached a global peak of No. 63 following Dean’s performance alongside Fender at Lollapalooza.
The Latin-Afrobeats fusion “Dai Dai” by Shakira and Burna Boy served as a summer soundtrack, charting in 102 markets and spending 37 days at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Charts. The track achieved its highest streaming day on July 20 after the World Cup Final, helping Shakira surpass 100 million monthly listeners.
Rounding out the lineup is Yung Miami’s solo breakthrough “Spend Dat”, which saw a 200 percent surge in daily streams over the season, lifting her monthly listeners on Spotify from 1.6 million in May to 6.3 million by August.
