Babehoven’s third studio album, I See Them, I See Me, lands this Friday. The Hudson, NY-based duo has already released the tracks “Blue Around You,” “Lasagna,” and “Three Reds,” and now they unveil a fresh single titled “Wave Has A Place.”
“‘Wave Has A Place’ explores loving someone who is cushioned from consequences, and the loneliness of witnessing that from the outside,” explains Maya Bon. “It’s about comfort worn as armor, privilege as identity, demanding honesty from someone who refuses to really see anyone else’s perspective. It’s about yearning for a home to be safe but feeling that it’s an alligator nest.”
