Australian garage-rock provocateur Billiam releases a torrent of music often enough that even the most die-hard punk correspondents find it tough to track it all. Today we return with news that a new album, Fang The Sniper, is slated for release next month. Not surprisingly, the three advance tracks are a joy ride. “Human Body Units” clocks in at two minutes of rapid, loud, lo-fi fun, while “Birdman Rally” and “Asbestos And Me” carry the same tempo and spirit. They’re also catchy, bursting from your browser with such swagger that one might conclude Billiam has a solid pop sensibility tangled in his punk rock lineage. Indulge in all three tracks below.
