DIIV Unveils New Single ‘Dare Me’

October 29, 2026

DIIV’s latest album, ZIRP!, crafted in collaboration with A. G. Cook, is slated for release this Friday and has been singled out as our Album Of The Week pick. We’ve already sampled early offerings “The Fountain,” “Kid,” and “Trillions,” with two of those tracks earning spots on our esteemed 5 Best Songs Of The Week list. On the eve of the drop, a final single arrives in the form of “Dare Me,” a cut that sustains the band’s signature shoegaze sensibility while weaving in pulsating, quirky electronic textures. An accompanying atmospheric video, directed by Louie Kovatch, features the group performing the track inside an abandoned office, clad in the rumpled businesswear they’ve been wearing of late. Watch and listen below.

DIIV have a slate of European festival appearances coming up, and they’ve also unveiled a substantial world tour that kicks off in Australia in February and winds up in the United Kingdom by late June.
