Doechii Drops Catwoman-Inspired Single

October 22, 2026

At the start of this month, Doechii reintroduced Swamp Sessions, the incredibly chic video series she unveiled ahead of her 2024 mixtape that helped her breaker status, Alligator Bites Never Heal. The Swamp Session entries were all brief, cinematic, visually striking clips built around the high-energy tracks that would later appear on that collection. Today, Doechii is immersed in work on what the project’s team is promoting as her debut album, and we had already shared a Swamp Session teaser for a new track titled “Bomb.” Just last night, she released another installment.

For the latest two-minute clip called “Catwoman,” Doechii shared directing duties with Carlos Acosta; it isn’t clear whether the piece represents the full track or a snippet. (It isn’t streaming yet.) The video opens with Doechii striking poses amid a stark desert-mountain backdrop, rapping with force over a shimmering boom-bap groove. Then, something dramatic unfolds. I’d rather not spoil it. See it for yourself below.

I’ve seen pop stars pull this gambit when unveiling new personas before, but I doubt I’ve ever seen it realized with such vivid intensity.
