Dominic Fike Drops New Single Pangea, Scores His First Top 10 Hit With 8-Year-Old Babydoll

October 20, 2026

Dominic Fike is in the final sprint of promoting a new album, yet like many artists today, his biggest breakthroughs come from the depths of his existing catalog. “Babydoll,” a track from his 2018 EP Don’t Forget About Me, Demos, found renewed popularity on TikTok this year and has since gained traction on radio. The track now reaches a fresh pinnacle of the Billboard Hot 100 at number 10, marking Fike’s inaugural top-10 placement.

In parallel, Fike’s third studio album How To Quit Smoking is slated for release next week, and today he premieres a new single, “Pangea.” The track delivers a breezy acoustic mood that stays true to Fike’s trademark blend of genres, fusing sun-drenched tones reminiscent of Jack Johnson and Sublime with a stronger hip-hop influence. It feels like something that would have clicked in 2002, and judging by the pace of “Babydoll,” perhaps it could resonate in 2026.

“Pangea” arrives with a video that features Fike piloting a seaplane above Vancouver during his most recent tour, directed by his long-running collaborators Reed Bennett and Kevin Abstract. Watch below.

You might also want to check out the earlier single “Small Town.” It teams Fike with Gabriel Jacoby and Emma Ogier, who drew attention with her own recent track “Hands Tied.” Like “Pangea,” “Small Town” comes with a video crafted by Bennett and Abstract.

How To Quit Smoking is set for release on 10/30 through Columbia.
