Dua Lipa Eyed as Coachella 2027 Headliner

October 14, 2026

Dua Lipa is said to be nearing an agreement to headline Coachella next year.

The pop icon’s 2027 calendar is already looking massive, as chatter grows about a sizeable stadium tour, and now reports suggest the Training Season singer might head to the California desert to top the bill at the famed festival.

An anonymous insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column that Dua first discussed Coachella back in 2023, but ultimately opted for Glastonbury.

Now, following a massive global stadium run, Coachella organizers have pulled out all the stops to secure her as the headliner.

Dua is anticipated to release her fourth studio album — the successor to 2024’s chart-topping Radical Optimism — next year, with these performances poised to launch a new era and cement her status as one of pop’s all-time greats.

There have also been claims that K-pop powerhouse BTS held early discussions with the festival, but ultimately decided it wasn’t the right moment.

A source added that BTS were in preliminary talks for Coachella, yet the exchanges fizzled out fairly quickly.

They preferred to focus on their own tour and felt Coachella wouldn’t fit into their plans.

During the summer, Dua spent time in the studio with Luka Kloser, a writer and producer who’s worked on Addison Rae’s material.

The Physical singer posted a string of studio snapshots, including a shot with Luka, who played a key part in crafting Addison Rae’s debut album.
