Girls Aloud have confirmed an expanded edition of their 2007 album Tangled Up, with the revised package due to drop on August 21.
The enhanced release adds vault-found material, including two previously unheard tracks titled What’s A Girl To Do and My Heart, along with an alternate version of the fan-favourite Girl Overboard that has already appeared on streaming services.
The reissue also marks the first time the group’s chart-topping Comic Relief single Walk This Way—their 2007 collaboration with Sugababes—will appear on a Girls Aloud album.
Speaking about the project on social media, the band shared: “We’re thrilled to reveal the Tangled Up deluxe edition, arriving on August 21. It features never-before-heard vault tracks, fresh alternate takes of album songs, and much more. You can already pre-order the collection on coloured vinyl, a picture disc, and as a 3CD set.”
The Top 5 record yielded the hits Sexy! No No No…, Call The Shots and Can’t Speak French.
The reissue follows the quartet’s highly successful 2025 reunion tour, which saw Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts regroup for a run of shows in memory of their late bandmate Sarah Harding. The tour attracted around 300,000 fans across 30 performances, celebrating Sarah’s legacy and the duo decades of hits.
Meanwhile, Nadine recently opened up about two unexplained moments that occurred the day after Sarah’s passing.
The Irish vocalist recalled that she couldn’t leave the Dublin venue at the time when the first incident happened.
On Olivia’s House with Olivia Attwood, she remembered: “So she had just passed away the day before. I was performing in Dublin that I couldn’t leave, and we were all seated there with multiple witnesses. And all of a sudden, as we were talking about her, the headphones literally popped off and hit the floor.”
She noted that the second occurrence in the same environment made them feel Sarah was involved.
She continued: “That was the first moment we thought, ‘oh my God, there must be something strange happening.’”
When it happened again in the hair and makeup room, everyone jumped back and asked, “Wow, what is going on?”
Nadine described the moment as powerful, adding: “I wondered if you’re a very strong soul who has just arrived. Are you guiding things up there already? Can you move headphones? What’s next?”
Asked whether she believes in the supernatural, the Love Machine vocalist said she has always kept an open mind.
“I’ve always believed,” she stated. “I’d rather not see ghosts—when you think of ghosts, you picture pirates and things… I’d rather not see anything, but that moment was extraordinary to witness.”
