GTA VI: Justice Score — Flower In A Hurricane by Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard

October 18, 2026

We are just over a month away from the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is shaping up to be this fall’s defining cultural moment. The franchise’s blockbuster reach extends beyond gameplay, stretching into the realm of music as well. A 34-track soundtrack album is planned, featuring a stellar lineup of major stars, and we’ve already heard a substantial portion of its selections. GTA VI will host even more high-profile personalities on its in-game radio stations, and the score will be crafted by Justice, the French duo whose retro-tinged, high-energy sensibility feels tailor-made for the Vice City vibe.

Today, Rockstar Games lifts the GTA VI launch trailer and confirms Justice as the composers behind the game’s score. The two announcements intertwine because the trailer itself is scored with a brand-new Justice track that brings together a constellation of superstar collaborators. On “Flower In A Hurricane,” Justice join forces with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard—quite a lineup for a single track.

The track itself comes off as an ’80s-inspired synth-rock anthem, opening with a dramatic riff that evokes Dire Straits’ “Money For Nothing.” Justice has previously collaborated with Tame Impala on “One Night/All Night” and the Grammy-winning “Neverender,” from their 2024 album Hyperdrama. About ten years ago, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and SZA also worked on material with Mark Ronson, though those songs were never released.

Throughout much of “Flower In A Hurricane,” Parker and SZA share vocal duties in harmony. It isn’t entirely clear what King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard contributed to the track, but it’s likely their triumphant organ and guitar textures are involved. As for the trailer, it looks absolutely spectacular. I can already imagine spending an enormous amount of time with this game. This isn’t a marketing boast—I’m genuinely hooked by what I’ve seen.

Other snippets from Justice’s GTA VI score have apparently appeared in Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, a half-hour preview you can stream on Netflix. Whether there will be a separate game-score release remains uncertain, but “Flower In A Hurricane” will be one of the 34 tracks on GTA VI: The Album. Below, you can hear the track and view the new trailer.

Grand Theft Auto VI and its accompanying album are both out 11/19.
