Jamie Miller Targets Back-to-Back No. 1 Week with Babydoll

October 25, 2026

Welsh singer-songwriter Jamie Miller appears poised to secure a second straight week atop the Official Singles Chart with his track “Babydoll.” After making history as the first Welsh solo artist to reach Number 1 since 2011, Miller’s momentum shows no signs of slowing as the single holds its lead in the early midweek update.

According to the Official Chart: First Look, the upper end of the chart remains fiercely competitive. Tate McRae stays firm at Number 2 with “Housewife,” while Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan’s collaboration “Expectations” remains at Number 3. Ashe’s “Stop The Wedding” and Sienna Spiro’s “Great Expectation” complete an unchanged top five at Numbers 4 and 5 respectively.

Further down the Top 10, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” remains at Number 6, while Adela’s “Nicole Kidman” climbs one spot to Number 7. Zach Bryan and Lana Del Rey’s duet “Lies” slips to Number 8, as Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s joint effort “Rein Me In” moves into the Top 10 at Number 9. Olivia Rodrigo caps the Top 10 with “The Cure.”

Seasonal classics and award show performances are also driving notable movement across the broader chart. P!nk and Nate Ruess’s 2013 hit “Just Give Me A Reason” is forecast to rise to Number 16, while Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” re-enters the Top 20 ahead of Halloween at Number 19.

Following her Mercury Prize win for THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., RAYE’s single “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” is predicted to jump 20 places to Number 31. Likewise, JADE’s “Angel Of My Dreams” looks set to re-enter the Top 40 at Number 35 following her performance at the awards ceremony. Meanwhile, Fontaines D.C. are eyeing a potential new entry with “Mimesis” tracking at Number 33.
