Across both nights, Jay-Z explored an extensive catalog of hits, including “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems,” “Hard Knock Life,” and “Dirt Off Your Shoulder.”
The closing night featured surprise guest appearances from prominent UK artists. Mercury Prize-winning singer Sampha joined Jay-Z on stage for a rendition of “No Church In The Wild,” while British rapper Dave performed his hit “Raindance,” prompting a strong reaction from the capacity crowd.
Beyond the packed audience, the second evening drew a wide array of notable guests, such as Madonna, Little Simz, Central Cee, Tinie Tempah, KSI, Sabrina Elba, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Lucy Bronze, Vogue Williams, and Bashy.
The extensive 31-song set spanned all eras of the artist’s repertoire, mixing enduring singles with album tracks like “Dead Presidents,” “Where I’m From,” “Song Cry,” and “U Don’t Know.” The show closed with an energetic run of “Big Pimpin,” “Public Service Announcement,” and the Linkin Park mashup “Numb/Encore.”
The London performances represented Jay-Z’s largest UK stadium appearances to date, signaling a major peak for live music in the capital over the summer.
