Joe Glass, the power-pop guitarist who also collaborates with Sharp Pins, is set to release an expanded edition of this year’s Snakewards next month, issued through K Records’ Perennial imprint. When the reissue was first announced, one bonus track—”It’s No Wonder”—was revealed, and a second new song has just been released today. While “It’s No Wonder” leans toward a Blackbird-like acoustic mood, the newest track, titled “outontouragain,” delivers a brisk, jangly guitar-pop pulse filled with energy, catchy hooks, and polished craft—imagine Exploding Hearts, but dialed down a touch.
Below, check out the video, directed by Grace Conrad, Owen Vaughan, and Joe Glass.
Snakewards is out 11/13 on K/Perennial. Pre-order it here.
