Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s partner, commemorated the birthday of the late One Direction star.
Almost two years after the singer’s death, the influencer paid tribute to her late boyfriend on what would have marked his 33rd birthday.
“Your birthday will always belong to you,” Cassidy wrote in an Instagram post that accompanied a carousel of affectionate photos of her with Payne. “Loving you, remembering you, missing you always. Happy birthday, Liam.”
Cassidy also posted a TikTok video in which she reflects on their bond while she bakes a birthday cake.
“This would now be year two of Liam not being here to physically celebrate his birthday,” she explained.
“There’s a saying that a person dies twice. They die the first time, and then a second time when you stop talking about them.”
Cassidy emphasized, “I’m never going to stop talking about him.”
“He was a huge part of my life and he helped shape the person I am today.”
“For those who don’t know Liam, let me tell you, he was one of the funniest, most handsome, smart, and kind souls you could ever meet in your life.”
Payne passed away in October 2024 at the age of 31.
