Kehlani Cancels Two Concert Dates While Hospitalized

August 27, 2026

Kehlani has paused her world tour to devote attention to her health.

The Grammy-winning artist revealed on Wednesday, August 26 via social media that she is cancelling two forthcoming concerts in New Jersey and Maryland on the Kehlani World Tour after being hospitalised with a painful illness that left her unable to swallow.

“After two days of feeling entirely normal, I spent the night unable to swallow and in such intense pain,” she wrote.

“I have just left the hospital and I am not cleared to sing for the next two shows. I’m so sorry Camden and DC. My team is working on a solution.”

Kehlani indicated that the trek will pick back up on 29 August in Richmond, Virginia.

The Folded singer added, “It breaks my heart to have to do this at all. I do everything I’m supposed to to keep my health up to par and it still isn’t guaranteed. We will resume in Virginia.”

Throughout the tour, Kehlani has prioritized her health and mental well-being, making stops at bathhouses, yoga studios and wellness centres across North America along the way. The tour is slated to continue through September and conclude in early October in San Francisco.
