Kesha has asserted that none of her former partners can compare to the devotion of her fanbase.
The TikTok sensation has spoken about her affection for followers nicknamed “Animals”, whom she calls the “love of my life.”
In an interview with V Magazine, she said that romantic love can’t rival the “pure transcendent love” she feels from her fans.
“Reflecting on all the romantic relationships I’ve had, none of them hold a candle to what I experience when I take the stage with my animals—that is pure transcendent love, unlike anything else,” she stated. “It’s almost impossible to put into words.”
The 39-year-old also suggested that this life could be her “last lifetime incarnated as a human.”
“I feel like my concept of a higher power decided, okay, you’ve lived many, many lives, and for your final one, we’re going to make it the most intense life a human could possibly lead,” she told the publication. “You’re going to see some crazy stuff.”
The singer continued, “It’s going to be barely tolerable at times, but you’ll be rewarded with a love—like a Goliath of a love—that will come at you like a tidal wave in the form of many beautiful people, and it’s going to follow you throughout your entire life. I truly feel that.”
Kesha also reflected on performing at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in May, describing the experience as a “bubble.”
“Every single person there makes it a very special night that can’t be replicated, and I’m just in it,” she shared. “There’s never a time in my life I’m more present than I am on stage, and I get to celebrate my freedom, which is so beautiful, surrounded by so much love.”
The Praying hitmaker added, “I’m so lucky. That’s my job. That’s insane.”
