Lady Gaga Announces Arrival of Her First Child

There is talk that Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child. On Friday, Page Six editors asserted that the pop megastar had recently become a mother. They also shared a photograph of Gaga — whose given name is Stefani Germanotta — cradling a newborn in a baby carrier while strolling with Michael and a friend in Northern California.

No details about the baby’s gender, birth date, or name have been made public.

Spokespeople for Gaga and Polansky have not issued any statement regarding the joyful news.

The Poker Face singer has maintained a relatively subdued public profile since concluding The Art of Personal Chaos concert series, which supported her eighth studio album, Mayhem, in April.

Gaga and venture capitalist Michael became engaged in April 2024 after dating for approximately four years.

In a January 2025 interview with ELLE UK, the A Star Is Born actress indicated that she and her partner were contemplating starting a family.

“That’s something Michael and I have discussed at length — letting our children grow into their own people,” she explained at the time. “It’s such a profound moment for kids entering the world. They’re guided on how to think and what to believe and how to eat… I simply want my kids to discover who they are.”

Additionally, Gaga revealed that her near-future life would revolve around “me and Michael and our kids.”

“It’s amusing; sometimes I worry people will say I’m boring these days, but honestly, thank God I’m boring. Thank God!” the 40-year-old smiled. “Because I used to live on the edge. I didn’t know what would become of me living that way. So, the fact that I have these answers makes me think, ‘Oh man, snooze fest!’ But really, I’m incredibly grateful. I’ve found a sense of happiness and joy that stays true to who I am.”
