Lady Gaga Teases Swift Comeback With First Album After Giving Birth

October 20, 2026

Lady Gaga has hinted that listeners won’t have to wait long for new music.

A fan going by One Little Monster urged the Born This Way creator not to let a prolonged gap occur before releasing the follow-up to 2025’s Mayhem, especially after she and fiancé Michael Polansky welcomed their first child, Rose, via a surrogate in June.

Commenting on the singer’s TikTok promoting Haus Labs’ Complexion Brush Set, the admirer wrote: “Gaga please don’t make us wait long for albums!!!

“We just want music!!! Every album has been taking longer and longer.”

Gaga sent fans into overdrive by answering: “Don’t worry.”

After Mayhem, Gaga issued three tracks for The Devil Wears Prada 2, including Runway featuring Doechii.

The rapper had previously teased that she and the Poker Face star have more music in store.

Speaking to E! News in April, she said: “I don’t want to say too much, because we have more to come, me and Gaga.”

The What It Is hitmaker described Gaga as an “angel” to collaborate with, praising the star as “a master at her craft.”

She added: “It was amazing working with her.”

“She is an angel. She is truly a master at her craft and I hope everybody is enjoying Runway.”

“She is so fabulous.”

Gaga has never concealed her admiration for Doechii’s musical talent, calling her tunes “immediately legendary” in the past.

Speaking to British Vogue, she said: “You don’t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That’s Doechii to me.”

“I fell in love with her music and her raw, deeply personal perspective.”

Gaga also acknowledged the power of Doechii’s songs, saying they struck her “to the core.”

She added: “The power in her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of audacity and emotional precision – it struck me to the core.”

After hearing Gaga’s comments, Doechii told People magazine she “audibly gasped, literally.”

She added: “I’m the biggest Lady Gaga fan, and she is so dedicated to her creativity and pushing the limits, so for a legend like that to say that about me, it really, really validated me in a humbling way.”

“I think when you meet Lady Gaga, she naturally has an essence about her. You just kind of listen, and you don’t even have to ask her for anything. I think she just pours herself naturally onto people.”
