Dance DJ and producer Logic1000 has been a fixture in the scene for some time, and she is gearing up to unveil a fresh album packed with collaborations called Confirmation!. We’ve already highlighted the singles “All In For You,” featuring KUČKA, and “Jersey,” with Jam City. Among the album’s guests, Rahim—the French art-pop artist known as Christine And The Queens—stands out as one of the most notable. Today, we get a taste of what the two artists create when they join forces.
Back in 2020, Logic1000 gave a remix to the title track of Christine And The Queens’ La Vita Nuova EP, and Rahim’s voice sat remarkably well with Logic1000’s production. Their first proper collaboration, “The Only One,” unfolds as a buoyant synthpop track centered around a striking vocal performance. Here’s Logic1000’s perspective on the collaboration:
From the earliest sketches of “The Only One,” it was evident that Rahim would be the perfect voice for this tune. He welcomed the track with genuine warmth and invested a lot of care into it. The turnaround happened incredibly fast. We weren’t sure which direction his lyrics would take, but once the draft arrived it confirmed our belief that he was the ideal fit for the song. To be honest, he’s a generational talent, something you can also catch a glimpse of in the music video for the track.
