Maria Usbeck Reveals New EP Canciones de Amor — Listen to Luz

August 8, 2026

Last year, Maria Usbeck, an Ecuadorian-born artist based in Brooklyn who crafts dream-pop, resurfaced after a long hiatus with Naturaleza, her first new album in six years. In a recent update, she revealed plans to follow that release with Canciones De Amor, an upcoming EP she tracked with a cohort of musicians that includes Jack Tatum of Wild Nothing. The opening song, “Luz,” shines as a charming, sparkling track that fuses mellow, airy jazz textures with lush, high-end-sounding synth-pop. Have a listen below.

TRACKLIST:
01 “Luz”
02 “Chirimoya”
03 “Lágrimas Lágrimas “
04 “Crushin’”
05 “Always Raining”

The Canciones De Amor EP is out 9/18 on Cascine.
