Alongside the album reveal, the platinum-certified singer-songwriter confirmed a return to the live arena with a two-night headline engagement at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, scheduled for October 16 and October 18.
The visual concept for Bass Persuades was developed in collaboration with renowned photographer Mert Alas, who shaped the imagery surrounding the project’s rollout. The announcement also accompanies a special Wonderland Magazine issue, guest-edited by Cyrus and shot by Mario Sorrenti, with styling overseen by Chief Creative Officer Alastair McKimm.
The forthcoming release continues Cyrus’s homage to the artistic influence of her godmother, Dolly Parton. Their long-standing personal and creative bond has produced a host of high-profile collaborations over the years, including their work co-hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.
Ticketing for the Hollywood Bowl performances kicks off with an American Express presale on Tuesday, September 8, followed by a fan presale on Wednesday, September 9. General on-sale begins Thursday, September 10 via Ticketmaster. The concerts are presented by Live Nation-Hewitt Silva, the exclusive promoter of non-classical performances at the 18,000-seat venue.
Cyrus continues to chart a dynamic path in modern music, traversing genres from pop and rock to country and soul. Following her 2024 Grammy victories for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for the hit “Flowers,” she added another Grammy in 2025 for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, awarded alongside Beyoncé.
Beyond her recording career, Cyrus remains deeply involved in advocacy through the Happy Hippie Foundation, which she established to support LGBTQ+ youth, and the Miley Cyrus Foundation. Bass Persuades is available for pre-order and pre-save across major digital platforms ahead of its September 18 release date.
