In 2016, Jenny Lewis unified an indie supergroup known as Nice As Fuck, bringing together Erika Forster of Au Revoir Simone and Tennessee Thomas from The Like. Their very first performance occurred at a Bernie Sanders benefit, and a few months later they released their self-titled debut without any prior fanfare. They toured, appeared on Colbert, and then quietly vanished. These days, they’re making a return.
Lewis has lately been occupied with the Rilo Kiley reunion and a few other ventures, while Tennessee Thomas tied the knot just last month. To honor the tenth anniversary of their debut album, Nice As Fuck has announced a brief October club run, opening for them will be DJ Alix Brown. An album reissue is also in the works. The following schedule lists the upcoming dates.
